This piece just keeps on winning, capturing all three major awards from the Northwest Rendezvous in Helena MT. on August 19 and 20, 2011. Awarded the "Award of Merit" and the "Joe Halko Heritage Award", both of which are voted on by the other artists, as well as the "Peoples Choice Award" for best sculpture.
Great News!
Over the past weekend, Blair's piece "How Many More . . ." life size won the prestigious James Earl Frazer sculpture award. This award is presented for the best sculpture at the annual Prix deWest show in Oklahoma City. The piece shown here with its award on the pedestal stands 48" tall and is a life size enlargement of Blair's signature piece done back in 1996. That maquette size (14" tall) sold out in 14 months Blair has wanted to enlarge it ever since.
Congratulations Blair!
