Blair received word last week that he has been selected from numerous candidates to create a larger than life standing bronze figure of legendary coach, John Wooden. The monument will be plated outside of the newly remodeled (work yet to be completed) Paulley Pavilion, on the campus of UCLA.
Coach Wooden won numerous NCAA championships in basketball and went on after his retirement from coaching to be a very successful and highly sought after motivational speaker.
The piece will be installed sometime in 2013 when the remodeling work has been completed.
